The Abu Dhabi Martial Arts Academy (ADMA) has announced its official accreditation from the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF). This makes ADMA the first academy in the UAE to receive this prestigious international recognition, qualifying its athletes to officially participate in both national and international tournaments.
ADMA emphasises training in various martial arts disciplines, including Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, while also enhancing athletes’ mental and tactical skills. The academy provides a comprehensive training environment equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including dedicated areas for ground fighting, a cage for martial arts training, and a gym designed to build strength and endurance.
Tarek Al Bahri, Academy’s General Manager, commented, “We are proud of this accreditation, which reinforces our vision to become the premier destination for developing mixed martial arts sports champions in the UAE. This accomplishment empowers us to train a new generation of athletes capable of competing at the highest levels, both locally and globally. ”
Andrew Moshanov, IMMAF Director of Sport Development, said, “IMMAF have been providing extensive education, training and coaching certification in UAE for a few years. ADMA is always at the forefront of these programmes, having by now the biggest number of internationally qualified coaches working under one roof and setting an example for the others.”
Kerrith Brown, IMMAF President, said that the UAE is becoming a destination for development of martial arts in the Middle East, noting "IMMAF is excited to be part of it, specifically been able to present educational values of the sport for the youth.
