“If you cry because the sun has gone out of your life, your tears will prevent you from seeing the stars.” I can’t but quote the wise words of the Bengali philosopher and social reformer. In adversities and hard times you can feel lost, depressed and helpless. You have a choice to either collapse “cry” or challenge your situation or at least get the best out of it aka “see the stars.” There is a lesson to be learnt from each situation but it needs a clear mind and a steady character.
To cross a busy road, you need to halt, think and look for a safe spot and timing. A sincere wish to advance and prosper in any field is not enough. You can have lots of obstacles but this does not mean that you are incapable of reaching your goal. Learn how to manoeuvre. “Where there is a will, there is a way;” another wise saying that sums up the idea. If you are determined to do something, you will find a way to achieve your goal. We all see a tiny ant carrying a huge grain. If it had looked at it in the first place and compared her size to the size of the attempted load, the poor ant would not have took the action. Yet, strong will makes all the difference.
If you are obese and your health is at a stake, you cannot just sit and imagine a healthy life. You have to analyse your problem, figure out your challenges and do your best to change. Put a plan. Be strong enough to adopt a healthy version of diet and lifestyle. You can either grab a bar of chocolate of a fresh apple. The choice is yours!
If you feel weak, insignificant and good for nothing, you can either stay in the corner forever after or change your location. Realizing your shortcomings will help you move forward. Your vision may not be fulfilled completely but maybe your endeavours will result in something else you did not plan but is an unexpected achievement. You can sow a seed but maybe you are not destined to ripe the fruit. Sometime, somewhere in the future a person may benefit from it thanks to your work and care. Don not hasten the results.
Live stronger than all odds. Twist adversities to benefits. Get the best out of any situation. Pay no heed to others except to those who push you forward. Surround yourself with optimistic resilient personalities. The saying goes: ” You are what you eat.” I say: ” You are what you want to be!”
