Dr. Sajid Hussain, born on February 1, 1969, in Morgah, Rawalpindi, Pakistan, is a distinguished poet, educator, and advocate for literature. He holds memberships in global literary organizations and has received numerous accolades, including the Shahitya Pata Award and the Rabindranath Tagore Memorial Literary Honors. He has authored acclaimed works and contributed to international anthologies. A senior Chemistry teacher and Master Trainer in “Low Cost and No Cost Science Material,” Dr. Hussain is also a homeopathic doctor and former principal. His poetry, often focused on humanity and nature, is widely published and translated. Dr. Hussain is a committed advocate for global understanding, cultural exchange, and social justice, using his platform to inspire positive change and foster dialogue. Dr. Sajid Hussain is the author of several acclaimed books and has co-authored numerous international anthologies. His notable works include: Acquits of Life, Parlance, Cloud Nine Fantasia, Oceanic Upwelling, and Waves and Rays of the Life. Searching for Redemption

Beyond the tangled string of moments of past,

The buried desires reflect signs of ruin,

Regret casts its pall over the burning ashes,

A fractured reality scatters in the void,

To ember glowing in the darkness of the soul,

Falling upon the canvas of the mind,

 A broken promise drifts upon the winds of change,

Threads of destiny intertwine a seeking refuge,

Faint yet ever presents in lingering shades of,

Falling dusk of living hopes,

A forgotten memory resonates through the ages,

In the labyrinth of existence specters haunt the corridors,

Of shattered dreams of fading into oblivion,

In the night the fleeting is yet profound,

Lost in the chaos of emotions threads of cosmic accord,

Enlace haunting and elusiveness on path of circumstances,

Gone astray in the sands of time, seeking truth,

Laden with secrets on the parched earth,

 Mirages shimmer in the distance in long spread,

I search the path with weary eyes,

In the vast expanse of emptiness.

Despondency, devastation beneath marks of crimson,

Nurturing anarchy with fractured lives,

Rending asunder from the fabric of tranquility,

Through shattered screams search peace of mind

The inferno of animosity consumes mankind with,

The ascending conflict into the eternal abyss,

Painful strain of humanity pulses the impulse of agony,

Blemishes the epochs with melancholy,

Amongst the debris and carnage,

Humanity’s essence contends and sways,

A lamentable ode of skirmishes triumph and depart,

In the path of shattered serenity,

Where torment and grief endlessly persist,

Yet strife, with its unyielding grasp,

Leaves us scarred, shattered, bereft,

The traces of indelible, upon our spirits,

The aspiration of camaraderie at humanity’s threshold,

Of naivety and virtue erstwhile acknowledged,

Finds its vacancy from the souls of former days,

When conflict stirs, we endure in solitude.

The seasonal tourist seems to retreat,

The sadness in deepened rosy twilight,

With every breath of air relieves hues of frosty reception,

Engraved for niches in a temple of heart,

Under a winter breeze a change of yarn,

In giddy mazes glitters for a sail,

Eyes of a pale face with hoary frost,

Grows stolid demeanor for conventional forthcoming,

Up for grabs a new provoking arrests an incline,

Hoard nuts of life with lucrative perks,

Driven with the wind and tossed of bad weather,

Banners of thousands sunsets glow lamps of revival,

On stunted plants at misty twilight zone,

To face just like solemn as a mask light,

Nimbus of budded roses on a heavy heart,

Brooding over stainless fields casts the soul into body,

A haze of winter far in the night,

Awakes golden beams of morning sun,

Period of repression saturates the night in woods,

Pulse of gain for pristine freshness of spring,

Approaches to retreat splendor of winter,

The secret of subduing birth unfolds with hidden flower.
