The UAE Football Association (UAEFA) has launched the new visual identity for the President's Cup, ahead of this season's final which will see Sharjah take on Al Ain on 28th April at Abu Dhabi’s Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium.
The new, modern brand identity is a big step forward for one of the most-prestigious competitions in the UAE as it nears its 50th season, having launched in 1974/75. The final is considered one of the nation’s premier domestic sporting events and is eagerly awaited each year by fans who reside in the UAE - and beyond.
This new identity was inspired by elements of the President's Cup that are focused on passion and excitement from the teams, players and supporters.
The new identity will be used in all digital and printed assets for the tournament, starting from this season's showpiece. There will be special guidelines for usage of the new branding on all social media platforms.
