The UAE Pro League signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) to enhance cooperation in the humanitarian and community fields, as well as other joint activities.
The MoU was signed at ERC's headquarters in Abu Dhabi by Abdulla Naser Al Junaibi, Chairman of the UAE Pro League, and Hamoud Abdullah Al Junaibi, Secretary-General of ERC.
The agreement aims to enhance areas of cooperation and exchange of experiences, as well as making use of the services provided by the two parties in areas of common interest and the coordination between them concerning social responsibility programmes and volunteer service.
As per the MoU, the UAE Pro League will contribute to the Authority projects' campaigns by promoting them during matches organised by the UAE Pro League and benefiting from the sports facilities, which will host the humanitarian campaigns' activities held by the ERC.
Abdulla Al Jneibi praised the ERC's efforts in serving humanity and relieving the suffering of the most vulnerable groups in light of its charitable initiatives and projects, stressing that this MoU affirms the keenness of the UAE Pro League and the professional clubs in strengthening the societal role.
For his part, the Secretary-General of ERC hailed the UAE Pro League's initiative in boosting its humanitarian partnership with the ERC. He also added that the ERC is keen on enhancing partnerships with the state's bodies and institutions for a better future for humanitarian work, as well as guaranteeing a decent life for those targeted by the authority's activities.
