Fatima started her career at the hotel in 2013, as the only female butler assisting the brides and their families with all related areas of the wedding preparations until the end of the anticipated ceremony. This assignment led her to discover her hidden passion for designing and planning tailor made weddings. Fatima stated, “The details on how we curate weddings at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi really caught my interest to discover more and be part of this story. Throughout my career here, I have seen how the entire team is collectively working together in preparing and organizing every detail related to the actual event.  From the very beginning of the process, until the very end it gives me immense pleasure to witness the delight of the newlyweds and their families for executing this special celebration with success, fulfilling them with happiness. This paved way for my eagerness and desire to be part of the events team and specialize in the art of weddings."

With the strategic efforts of the Human Resources Department (HR) in continuing to connect and promote their internal hosts through online and classroom trainings, as well as cross training in different departments, Fatima is one of the many hosts of The St. Regis Abu Dhabi that was able to pursue her passion and join a career that better suited her future development. She was able to smoothly transition from being a St. Regis Butler to a successful and valuable member of the events team.

This is what inspires my team and myself to ensure that the wedding dreams of the couples will blossom into reality. We take care of all the details from crafting customized menus, executing all venue arrangements in the majestic Al Mudhaif Ballroom and adding a special touch with the personalized anticipated services provided by The St. Regis Butler."

Al Mudhaif Ballroom, presents quintessential luxury with its exceptional touches of gold around the room, the ornate details of the handcrafted ceilings, the captivating crystal chandeliers and of course the hand-tufted carpets. Spanning into 1,311m², the pillar less and high ceiling Ballroom is easily transformed to match every desired design and set up, while it can comfortably accommodate 650 wedding guests. For additional privacy and as required in traditional weddings, there is a separate private entrance for the brides, their families and their guests to arrive.
