Emirates Park Zoo & Resort, Abu Dhabi’s leading private zoo destination is hosting their Children’s Summer Camp 2018 program which will run throughout the whole month of July.
The zoo’s summer camp allows the kids to experience animal interaction and participate in numerous summer camp activities, which includes the K9 dog unit show, which was held on Wednesday on the 4th of July, a session that showcases a team of police dogs that are trained to handle various jobs to serve and protect the citizens of the country. The K9 Abu Dhabi Police Dog program exhibited multiple skill sets and services, such as protecting their owner/partners, detecting narcotics, as well as patrolling unchartered territories. The summer camp’s audience also got to witness the different behaviors in a police dog in terms of alertness, obedience and how they perform duties under stress with minimum guidance.
Naima Mahmoudi, Marketing Manager of Emirates Park Zoo, said, “We want to incorporate a fun learning environment for the children by combining a series of activities they can enjoy from. Not only is the K9 unit a great resource for the city in adding a layer of protection, it is also illustrates the talents and skills that these smart creatures possess.
Summer camp package is priced at 199AED daily and 800AED weekly, open to kids between 4-14 years of age. The program is held from Sunday through Thursday, 8:00am to 2:00pm daily.
