As the Year of Zayed comes to life, Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center, Abu Dhabi in partnership with The Mall at World Trade Center Abu Dhabi hosted a day of exciting activities for the children of the Emirates Red Crescent last 17 February, 2018.

The exclusive event commenced with a fun-filled lunch at the downtown hotel destination where the children indulged in mouth-watering delicacies representing a variety of culinary traditions around the world. The festive lunch was followed with an educational and entertaining LEGO workshop that featured four different stations such as the LEGO Ninjago Movie, LEGO Duplo, LEGO Batman Movie and LEGO Friends, enabling each children to unleash their creativity and problem-solving skills in building an assortment of LEGO structures.

Matthias Widor, General Manager of Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center, Abu Dhabi said, “There is no greater joy than to see a wide smile on each children’s faces during our day-spend with Emirates Red Crescent. After a well-spent afternoon with food and toys, the little ones of the Emirates Red Crescent capped the day off with a showcase three acts presented on behalf of the Chinese New Year. The show included Chinese Lion performance, Sugar Painting, and a Blossom Tree Décor which the children enjoyed in the company of friends.

Yasser Al Marzouqi, General Manager of The Mall at World Trade Center Abu Dhabi also commented, saying, “We are happy to welcome the young ones with an exceptional learn and play session, and the Chinese New Year festivities at The Mall. This exclusive event aims to pursue our drive towards promoting the spirit of solidarity and being committed to a unique culture of volunteerism within the UAE.”
