But men like you and me operate
In the grey zone earmarked for right.

GREY ZONE
If we find in our lives one path
Which is wrong
We have a whole spectrum of things
Which are not altogether wrong
And therefore more or less right
Wrong is clear and visible
While the right
Is a conglomerate
Of parallel alternatives which
Do not compromise with the wrong.
Most of the time, we are operating
In the domain of the options
Which we consider right
And they are morally acceptable
Until we do not step on the wrong choice.
This is how life’s business is conducted.
Evil chooses the wrong option
But men like you and me operate
In the grey zone earmarked for right.

ROSE
The rose
Was watered every day
Yet in its heart
It was sinking and wilting away.
Sunshine, winds, and
Honey bees
Gathered to ask
What is the matter, hey?
For whom I travelled
The path
Of life and death
I see those eyes turned away.
Water does not keep
Them alive
For whom they glow
Not only men even plants know.
