I’ll Choose You — For Eternity
I’ll choose you always, come what may,
Even when days falter, and we’re unsure of the way.
I’ll love you still, through difficult days,
And when hearts feel torn, and love’s in disarray.
I’ll understand you, soft and true,
Even when silence is all we pursue.
I’ll accept you, whole, with every scar,
Even when love feels distant, and we’re lost afar.
Since you dwell in the core of my heart,
Your essence is eternal, never to depart.
I’ll hear your voice within life’s stormy night,
Even when words fade into stillness, and all’s not right.
I’ll stand by you when the world pulls away,
A steadfast light that shines, come what may.
I’ll speak to your soul, though silence reigns,
A bond enduring through joy and life’s pains.
Your fragrance lingers, divine and sweet,
A gentle presence my heart will always meet.
Your touch is woven in all I see,
A constant rhythm, a part of me.
Through every storm, through skies of blue,
I’ll feel you near, forever true.
A love unending, a vow, a heartfelt plea,
To hold you always, eternally.
