And I ask myself rhetorically,
Where am I in all this chaos?
In a moment of lucidity,
Or perhaps in a dream,
That will open a portal
To the true life.

A Moment of Lucidity
On the path of life,
Steps are heavy and hollow,
Weighed down by so many bitter “truths.”
The clamor of destinies
Carries on its shoulders crosses of broken dreams,
And in the hustle of happenstances,
Our stars go out one by one,
Like fireflies in an eternal night.
A deafening clatter of ambitions,
Hidden behind the scenes,
After curtains and drapes,
Makes the fragile crusts of conflicts crack.
We traverse meridians and parallels
In search of happiness,
But we learn that a burst of tears
Is the ultimate therapy.
And I ask myself rhetorically,
Where am I in all this chaos?
In a moment of lucidity,
Or perhaps in a dream,
That will open a portal
To the true life.

Dispersions
Once, in ancient times, I was a pure child –
I shaped meanings
From the seed of wisdom,
Kneading them with the delicate craft
Of tender hands,
To open the gates of questions
That delved into the depths of knowledge.
Now, behold me, an adult, wandering through the thickets of illusions,
In a frantic chase
After the ephemeral smoke of dreams.
Everything I found has dissipated
In the turmoil of a mind
That writhes in a labyrinth,
And hypotheses, like traps,
Have turned into prisons of mist.
I have lost the innocence of questioning,
And with it, the mystery of truth.
Only whispers remain, fading
In the twilight of a time
That no longer permits answers.
