Aldar Restaurant at Emirates Park Zoo & Resort is launching an initiative of distributing hot Iftar meals will donated to support workers or people in the community during this Holy month.
In keeping with the spirit of Ramadan, Aldar Restaurant staff will carefully pack, deliver, and distribute the meals. The Iftar box will feature a choice of chicken biryani or vegetable biryani for those opting for a vegetarian option. Both meals will be complimented with shitneh sauce, yoghurt, traditional dates and water.
To ensure enough packed meals to be distributed, the restaurant and the whole of Emirates Park Zoo & Resort encourages their guests and the public to get involved by donating any amount. For every AED 12, a person will receive a freshly packed meal.
Ali Najib, Emirates Park Zoo & Resort Food and Beverage Manager said, “The holy month of Ramadan gives us a chance to reflect everything in life, making us appreciate what we have. Giving charity is a great deed, and It also gives us a chance to connect and support the people in the community. We would like to encourage our visitors and the public to assist us with the meals by donating. What’s a better time to give, than during the holiest month of the year?”
“For customers reference, the team of Aldar Restaurant will be video recording the whole program, keeping them fully updated with the progress to ensure the funds collected are utilized in the most efficient and effective manner as promised” he added.
