Emirates Park Zoo & Resort played host to the patients of Imperial College London Diabetes Centre for a thrill-filled day with the different wildlife members.
Over 150 excited children graced the premier zoo destination’s three educational stations that featured a series of interactive workshops under the supervision of the zoo’s esteemed team as well as members of the health centre. The fun festivities continued with a meet and greet of the zoo’s wildlife residents through an interactive tour that was made special by animals such as baby camels, farm animals, giraffes and elephants. Elephants took center stage in an exclusive show where the little ones were able to learn, dance and laugh with the majestic creatures. Children were able to partake in Emirates Park Zoo & Resort’s conservation efforts through an informative planting session in the zoo’s mini garden as well.
The event was capped with an entertaining moment featuring the zoo’s African drummers and a delightful magic show which brought joy to the children.
The Marketing Manager of Emirates Park Zoo, Naima Mahmoudi commented: “The fun day event was designed to raise awareness in a distinct form of educational entertainment. We believe in action, and we want to promote a healthy lifestyle amongst the people of Abu Dhabi. At the same time, we want to give children the opportunity to enjoy and experience nature in a within the city.”
