Abu Dhabi has been named Arab Environment Capital for 2023 by the Secretariat General of the Arab League and the Council of Arab Environment Ministers. The organisation recognised the emirate’s achievements in environmental protection and climate action over several years, led by Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD).

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, the 15th edition of the Al Dhafra Water Festival, organised by Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority and Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, will take place from 16-25 February 2024 at Al Mugheira Beach in Al Dhafra Region.

The fifth edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2023 kicked off today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre Marina and Canal Hall, with the largest in the show’s history since its inception in 2018

The finale of the Al Dhafra Grand Kingfish Championship for Men and Women, taking place on Al Mughirah beach in Al Dhafra city, has attracted 448 participants, 378 men and 61 women.
The championship, open to UAE nationals, residents and visitors, concludes tomorrow.
