What caught my attention during a special celebration of Emirati Women's Day, where I was translating instantly from Arabic to English and vice versa, was the significant increase in the number of Emirati girls occupying various positions that were once exclusively reserved for men.
My imagination and memory were filled with thoughts about my birthplace, upbringing, and education in the UAE, where teaching was a common profession among Emirati women, and it was unusual to see a girl working in a profession that required effort and time outside her home, due to the customs and traditions that Emirati families adhere to. After a short period of diving into past memories, I woke up to an inspiring reality, in every sense of the word, as in a very short time, the Emirati girl has become an icon and a symbol of openness, civilization, and development in all fields.
Not only that, but the support that the Emirati girl now receives, whether from her family or the wise leadership of the UAE, has become a model to be followed in all countries of the world. During the translation journey, I felt proud of the following models that I will share with you, and I felt inspired after hearing the success and struggle stories of each one of them.
Captain Sahar Al Rasti
The first Emirati sea captain, Captain Sahar Al Rasti, is not only the first female captain but also a wonderful mother, sister, and girl who defied many difficulties to reach where she is now. I also translated for the foreign audience the story of Huda Al Matroushi, the first Emirati mechanic, whose gentleness and humility in talking about the call she received from the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, caught my eye.
Huda Al Matroushi
He expressed to her the pride of the UAE in her and supported her to be a role model for Emirati girls. What kind of support and beauty are we talking about when we see the leader of a beautiful country like the UAE, despite all his responsibilities, taking the time to talk to one of his daughters to support her and make her an inspiration for the girls of her generation.
Dr. Maya Al Hawari
Dr. Maya Al Hawari, the first Emirati doctor in smart leadership and emotional intelligence, is a wonderful example of a beautiful, elegant, aware, intelligent Emirati woman who respects the customs and traditions of her country while being open to everything new. If you want to know who the Emirati woman is, I recommend that you follow Dr. Maya Al Hawari .. and I am not ashamed to admit that I fell in love with emotional intelligence and all its topics after following her on her social media pages..
It was time for translation and talk about
Reem Al Hassani
, the first Emirati to manufacture boats in the UAE, a mother of two children who faced many frustrations, but that did not discourage her from continuing her passion until she inaugurated her own work in boat building and marine sports equipment... What caught my eye was that there were many Emirati girls who had professional careers as engineers in the gas field, on sites, and also as electricians and other hard professions... More than that, they discussed their pregnancy conditions during hard work and how the state institutions provided them with facilities and flexible working hours to ease them without conflicting with their ambitions. If the Emirati woman is inspiring...
the UAE is the source of inspiration for Emirati women and for every girl living on its land... I am originally Egyptian, but I confess and acknowledge that I am Emirati by inclination and origin... Emirati in achievements, Emirati in creations and ambitions, I am a lover of the UAE and proud to have been raised on its land.
I am originally Egyptian, but I acknowledge and admit that I am Emirati by inclination and origin... Emirati in achievements, Emirati in creativity and ambitions. I am passionate about the UAE and I am proud to have been raised on its land. The UAE's commitment to enhancing the role of women and empowering them has had a profound impact on my development.
The ambitious vision of the state and its continued support for initiatives that support women have inspired me to be the best version of myself. The achievements made by Emirati women in various fields reflect the great opportunities that the state provides to its women, which makes me proud to be part of this community.
The progress made by Emirati women is a source of inspiration for me and for every woman striving to achieve her ambitions and goals. I am passionate about the UAE because it enhances my successes and encourages me to move forward towards achieving my dreams. Every successful, creative, and inspiring Emirati woman is proof that women are capable of achieving success and making a positive impact on their society.
Let's celebrate their achievements together and let us be motivated to achieve more successes in the future. Every year, every woman, and every Emirati is successful, inspiring, and creative on the land of the UAE.
