However, who closely examines the UAE's development plans will realize that they deserve to be in the ranks of developed countries. That is because of their success in managing the global crisis skillfully and competently, and that would not have been possible without the long-standing work, effort, construction, foundation and planning to confront such a pandemic, as crisis management is not a momentary one!

The founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may Allah have mercy on him) began planning, long time ago, to lay the infrastructure and establish the administrative organization on the latest findings of research and studies, in conjunction with the scientific construction and establishment of the enlightened Emirati minds, following the latest methods of education and establishment thereto. The product has been a creative society capable of managing the most severe crises professionally and with distinction. The major powers were fascinated by this management, and even requested the UAE's expertise in this respect.

This pandemic has demonstrated the ability of the UAE leadership and people to take the lead, and that what has been achieved to contain the crisis may not be possible for many major countries during recovery periods. It also showed that the UAE is actually in the stage of empowerment and giving: politically, economically, socially, industrially, in development and technology, and that it has reached the kick-start phase... the release of minds and the reaping of benefits of effort made over the years

What happened, in fact, is not fortuitous, but rather because of a careful planning by an inspired wise leader for an elaborate construction, the result of which was a generous state capable of standing in the face of the most severe crises, and even extending a helping hand to other countries. In this respect, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE (may Allah prolong his life) is supported by the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (may Allah protect him). As well as their brothers members of the Supreme Council of the Federation, Rulers of the Emirates.
