I woke up today, as usual, and browsed social media to see the latest updates, follow influencers, and trends. This way, in this day and age, you become a solid influencer!
Anyway, this is not our topic right now.
I was attracted by the posts celebrating the International Day for the Lazy Mother, which is all over social media pages.
I did a search to see if this day is real or not..
And here was the surprise.. I found this definition on Google: "The International Day for the Lazy Mother" has become an annual event on September 1st, in the United States, with the aim of reminding mothers of the importance of giving themselves a well-deserved break. The international day emphasizes that mothers should take a break without feeling guilty, away from their daily tasks".
A question immediately came to mind.. since when? And who among you has ever seen a lazy mother.. regardless of the different cultures, beliefs, or even individual abilities among all mothers?
The mother is equivalent to a large group of professions combined in one person, with a big heart, greater patience, and selfless giving, where this person (the mother) practices dozens of tasks and professions daily with all love, patience, without boredom, tirelessly, and driven by love..
This instinct that God has planted in the hearts of mothers cannot be described as laziness, and we cannot classify it in the category of lazy days at any time..
It is enough for us to label the most beautiful creatures on earth with characteristics that do not resemble them, even for media show and trending,,
Enough what mothers endure from the amount of psychological, physical, emotional, hormonal, and social pressures, and all the variables they go through that make them a prisoner looking forward to a word of appreciation and thanks from everyone around them.. even if those words are without real feelings, but they are enough to change her mood, energy, and practice her daily life normally..
Life has changed significantly, and mothers have become more aware than before that their own time is a daily necessity, not an annual one, to recharge their energy and boost their morale.. even if this time is an hour or two a day..
Mothers are no longer "a candle that burns for others" in the current time due to many circumstances.. but they have become aware enough that this candle needs to remain lit for themselves and others without burning out..
Therefore, I suggest that the names be changed to suit reality, and instead of the International Day for the Lazy Mother,, it can be the International Day for the Relaxed Mother or the Comfortable Mother in Egyptian,, as laziness is a trait that does not match the mother in any way.. and we must stay away from these negative traits and random labels, respect our minds and the minds of others, let alone respect and appreciate this holy blessing, which is the mother.
Therefore, we must celebrate the mother every day, not just on a specific day, and we must appreciate, respect, and support her permanently because she simply deserves it.
And we must always remember that mothers are the real engine of our lives. They are the ones who give us love, support, and encouragement at every moment of our lives, let us praise mothers for their strength, endurance, and the sacrifices they make daily. Let us acknowledge that they deserve more than one day a year to celebrate and recognize them. In fact, every day should be a day to appreciate mothers. Let's be grateful to them, show them our love and appreciation every day.
I hope this article has a positive impact on the reader and serves as a reminder to us all of the great importance that mothers
hold in our lives and life in general.
A salute to my mother..
A salute to all mothers of the world everywhere..
You deserve love, comfort, and safety.
