As an individual and an Egyptian citizen who loves his country and dreams of a dignified life, justice, freedom, and social justice for all its inhabitants. He does not wish to see justice diverted. Anyone who harms the country, tries to destabilize its security and stability, destroys its infrastructure, terrorizes it, or exploits its economic and political crises to illegitimately seize power, or spies for nations seeking dominance over Egypt and realizing that terrifying nightmare we fear, or replicates the scenarios of January, or executes a plan to fragment Egypt — all this is unacceptable.
We must all be aware of these schemes which never end. As political elections draw near, the enemies of this nation from both inside and outside intensify their dirty tactics, spreading rumors and causing confusion around certain incidents in order to destabilize and pave the way for the chaos they hope to reintroduce to the Egyptian scene. Everything exists in the game of politics, which is heartless and unscrupulous. The enemy is relentless, exploiting everything until he gets to you. In today’s world, traditional wars and military confrontations are no longer the norm, and they only resort to them when they have cornered you. Their true warfare aims to make you destroy yourself through conspiracies, treachery, spying, rumor-spreading, despair, and frustration under the so-called fifth-generation warfare or other names they have coined for it.
In politics, we find directives, negotiations, agreements, alliances, and all forms of dirty dealings — all political slogans reflecting the possible and the impossible. The strangest thing in the game of politics is that everything is possible and everything is impossible. Every event or incident has even stranger reasons behind it, and it’s not important for us to understand everything or for every reason to be declared. We silently suffer because we love this country, while those who seek to destroy it enjoy its bounties and everything it offers and emerge from prisons like victorious conquerors. Unfortunately, we feel sorrow when we see those who set fire to the Scientific Complex walking free, and well-known figures who support them, with known affiliations and agendas, greet them as if they are heroes.
So much is happening these days in strange ways, and perhaps more will occur. All we can do is put a question mark in front of everything we don’t understand and remain silent, while the haters and terrorists speak up, filling the world with their screams, howls, gloating, frustration, and despair.
The elections are coming, and we will witness wonders and see the possible and the impossible. But we need to understand the scene and not be dragged behind those who seek the destruction of this country. Whoever believes they are fit to lead this nation should come forward, and the choice is up to the people and the ballot box. This is the democracy they boast about.
I wonder, what do the coming days have in store for us?”
