Indeed, we fell into the trap of joyfully arguing to prove that Cleopatra had fair skin!
The storm caused by the movie "Black Cleopatra", which aroused the anger of many who are jealous of history from distorting its facts, will certainly end.
Indeed, the campaign to counteract succeeded in nullifying the effect of the film that portrayed Cleopatra in an image different from what she actually was.
So it seemed to us.
This apparent success is nothing but real failure in resisting the drift towards exactly what they wanted.
Some praised the statements of Dr. Hawass as if he brought something that the ancestors could not do, while the responses of an antiquities specialist like Dr. Zahi are required to protect the statues and produce the black magic effect in the consciousness of the people who were distressed by what happened.
I see nothing but that the party producing the film succeeded in its goal by nearly 100%
How?!
The reactions to the introduction of Black Cleopatra have actually been exploited for the further purpose of the film, as it seems that the protest was against portraying Cleopatra as a black woman and not that portraying her in this image was contrary to the simplest historical facts!
But do the producers not know who Cleopatra is and what her origins are?!
Hasn't anyone asked this question, as it seems like a naive question, because the Ptolemaic family tree that ends with Cleopatra is preserved in the documented historical sources and there is no doubt about her origins in any era of time nor was her color a controversial issue among any of the historians. The whole matter has been done without concern for historical facts, because history no longer interests them except in what they can benefit from it in the future directly.
Because this information will be the measure and will become the truth.
Here we will appear in front of the black African peoples as if we are racially biased, rejecting the black color and preferring the white.
"Look, brother, although the biggest and most famous hero in the life of any Arab is Abu Al-Fawares, Antara Bin Shaddad,
"If I am black, then musk is my color,
And there is no cure for the blackness of my skin,
But it keeps the disgusting things away from me,
As the earth is far from the atmosphere of the sky."
And I don't forget Abu Zaid Al-Hilali, Salama,
And my personal story with him, because I was so infatuated with him that I used to sit in the southern Upper Egypt sun in our country for hours to become close to the blackness of the dark-skinned Salama."
Because Arabs are not completely white people, but they are not black people either, and therefore they can be accused of racism.
Notice that I use the descriptor "black" and not "brown" or "dark-skinned" as is common in Western discourse towards peoples of African origins.
And here lies the malicious danger, because moving away from describing the black color and launching other descriptors is real racism.
Was the black color a flaw to be ignored?!
And was describing the origin as Zanji a belittlement?
"Also remember the noble companion "our master" Bilal bin Rabah "the Ethiopian."
"You can add our master Luqman mentioned in the Surah bearing his name in the Holy Quran and he was a black-skinned Nubian."
But the past racial charge with the emergence of America is what made blackness ugly and Zanjiness a flaw, until describing with the color black became terrifying and against civilization.
They in America, Europe, and advanced countries, see that describing a person as black is a belittlement, so they replace it with "dark-skinned".
Do you remember the story of the black American boy who was killed by a cop in a clash between them?!
They described him as having dark skin and being of African origins.
But they didn't describe the cop who killed him as having fair skin and being of European origins!
The history of the "occupation" of the white man in America does not significantly exceed the history of "bringing" the black man to the United States, but the period between them was a preparation period to kidnap as many people from Africa as possible to work "as slaves" in American farms. However, the West in general and the United States in particular, want to get rid of this complex but they do not throw it in the sea. Disgusting pragmatism taught them to invest everything, so they want to plant the seeds of fictitious racism in North African lands and divide the African continent into two warring halves between the black peoples south of the Sahara and the Arab peoples north of that desert.
"The seeds of discord are clearly laid out and paved at every opportunity.
There are many illusions that have been planted in the terrain of contemporary Arab culture by spreading false rumors linking Africa with black peoples of Negroid origin, while ignoring the North African peoples.
The Ethiopian Renaissance Dam crisis was just one of their creations, painting Egypt, at least the largest Arab country in terms of population, as wanting to usurp the rights of the sons of the African continent.
This project of discord is not newborn, but extends in roots to several centuries, perhaps reaching the fifteenth century with attempts for a Portuguese-Ethiopian alliance by Vasco da Gama and his successors, when they planned to reach the Red Sea after discovering the route around Africa. Their aim was to strike Egypt from the back, invade the Hejaz, and regain Jerusalem.
Don't you see at every occasion of football matches between teams from North and South Africa, how they plan to widen the gap between the audiences?!
We noticed this clearly in the Egypt and Senegal match in the continental qualifiers for the previous World Cup
And just yesterday, what happened between Al Ahly of Egypt and Al Hilal of Sudan.
Here is Sudan, wasting and disintegrating before our eyes in a globally agreed-upon war. Even if it is between two Arab Sudanese parties, it is not far from extending and broadening its scope among the continent's countries, becoming a hotspot for major discord.
If only the case with the movie Cleopatra was a historical mistake. But it is a dangerous sign of what is being plotted against us, especially with this strange convergence between Africans on one hand, and Europeans and Americans on the other.
Also notice that for African literature to ascend to international prominence, it must emanate from a Western capital and in a language other than the original language of the author of "African roots" who resides there permanently and uses Africa only as a mythical backdrop for his writings in English or French.
They have captured Africa once again, and colonization has returned, but not in the form of armies invading its land and fleets blocking its sea.
They know very well that Egypt is the gateway to Africa geographically, and that the closest competitor to them in Africa is Egypt along with the rest of the Arab countries in the north, which receive their daily share of plans for sedition and destabilization of security at all times with a new pretext.
Therefore, they must dig a psychological trench across Africa separating north and south, rivalling the geological trench in the east of the continent that separates Africa from Asia.
Concurrently with this new trench, it is necessary to create psychological fissures and there is nothing but acting or sports as two ways that create the fastest impact.
Arab intellectuals should realize that Africa is being stolen from them, just as the European colonization and American domination had previously stolen countless of its riches. Western economic entities are still continuing the path of colonization that we had hardly recovered from, only to become addicted to it in other forms in a deliberate alienation we practice daily in art, sport, and culture."
