Rumors spread that the Prophet PBUH stepped back for Morsi to stand in the front..!!
The strange thing is that the masses of Muslim Brotherhood's youth were very enthusiastic as they believed such rumors, drawing an extraordinary power that emerged after they were ordered to mobilize in all squares they could reach. Indeed, crowds began to gather in front of Cairo University, Alexandria, Banha, and Port Said.
Only a few hours into the night, skirmishes and gunfire broke out, resulting in two deaths at Kit Kat, in addition to other injuries.
Brotherhood attacks on gatherings in Banha, Talibiya in Giza, continued attacks in the area of Ben Al-Sarayat near their gathering at Nahda in front of Cairo University, and in the streets of Ain Shams. A transport vehicle appeared with over ten individuals with visible beards, wielding automatic weapons and firing in the air and in all directions to terrorize the citizens.
In Helwan, specifically in the Martyrs' Square, where opponents of the Muslim Brotherhood gather, Brotherhood men attacked and injured many.
Brotherhood's youth entered the Islamic Hospital in Helwan to cause panic among the citizens.
Dr. Morsi on Twitter: He reaffirms his adherence to constitutional legitimacy, refuses to relinquish it and says: I urge the armed forces to withdraw their warning and reject any internal or external dictates.
At 11:33 pm, President Morsi appeared in a recorded speech. He said:
The January 25 revolution that rose against a corrupt system.
January's revolution had martyrs, but it was not bloody, then we went through presidential elections that the world witnessed as fair and the people chose a president freely.
On June 29, 2012, I went out with you in the square, I swore in front of you and God, and I swore again in front of the Constitutional Court, at Cairo University, and at High Council of Armed Forces.
In my previous speech, I admitted that there were mistakes that I learned after a year.
I moved in all directions and I still want Egypt to have its own will and for no one to impose their will upon it.
But there is corruption, remnants of the previous regime, the deep state, and there are those who want Egypt to be backward, both domestically and abroad.
He goes back to talking about the January revolution and its great role.
There are great challenges.. corruption.. the deep state.. remnants of the previous regime.. 32 families who controlled the country.. the challenge of ruling is great.. and corruption will not return if the people resist.
We produced a great constitution in record time.. and the people's referendum on it.. this is legitimacy.
But there are those who want democracy and fabricate these crises and infighting and this is the case in the street now.
And there are those who exploit the youth's anger over economic problems and they cause chaos and these people do not want legitimacy.
That's why I want to say to the honorable opposition youth, not the blood-shedders, I tell the honorable ones that Egypt belongs to everyone.
Mohamed Morsi has never been keen on the chair, but I am now burdened with the people's choice and bear the responsibility.
The blood of Egyptians is very precious to me and I stand with all I have against those who want to shed blood.
So my message to those who adhere to legitimacy, I declare my adherence to legitimacy and to the supporters who want legitimacy: protect Egypt.. protect the revolution.. beware, the revolution could be stolen from you under any pretext.. there are many pretexts.. and many magicians.
How can the revolution not be stolen? Its price is my life.. I want to protect the children.. I want to protect the women.. the men.. the army.. that we built with our blood.. beware, supporters or opponents, you insult the Egyptian army.. protect the Egyptian army. Do not confront it or use violence with it.. nor violence among you or between you and the interior.. the interior which has suffered a lot.
Everyone must realize that the bloodshed delights the enemies "oh, the enemy's joy in us".
