One of the most beautiful phrases I read today is, "Glory to the self that knows its worth." The cost of our spiritual livelihood is steep; each of us ardently yearns to encounter a "cherished soul" in our path. In essence, anyone who loves you and believes in you, supports you, and eases your journey is a cherished soul to you.
Thousands of humans, human-like beings, and many animals have passed through my heart. Over decades, my intuition has taught me what love is, the meaning of beautiful support, and how generosity and impact persist. There has always been and still are those who accompany our lives with much flawed love, cautious affection, and calculated giving!
Would I surprise you, my friend, by saying that all these people formed the most beautiful part of your composition? Most of your creations emerged from the womb of suffering. There is an Egyptian proverb that says, "What comes for free goes for free." So, be sure that everything you have obtained, you have paid a high price to keep and preserve.
Within each of us is another life that we live alone. We see the depths of others and feel every secret and sin that creeps into their hearts. We do not express these feelings but leave them in the archive of the soul, and at the right time, we change the chess moves on the table of our lives accordingly.
Later in life, there comes a stage when you lose your ability to be patient, tolerant, and enduring. Your greatest ambition in life becomes to continue your days without surprises.
Most of your happiness is confined to having your day pass peacefully, without anyone intruding or involving you in their wars and schemes.
Most of the time, I prefer to keep my opinion to myself in many situations. Being a spectator has become more gentle and less burdensome than being on the judges' platform.
I said goodbye to sterile debates and sophistry in conversations, for it is better for my life to speak when there is an echo, a listener, and a response.
We need an appropriate time of solitude to look at our lives from above and meet our selves to increase your sense of usefulness and value. Listening to your inner silence is the honest touch and good adjustment you need from time to time.
That solitude, if I may say so, is the "honest thief" to whom you should open your doors wide, so he can take away everything that hurts you from within.
We usually start our lives with a huge amount of dreams. Most of these wishes are then reduced to becoming content, having your loved ones be well, and only seeing goodness in those around you.
Do not hold on to your pain, but learn to let it go and not live in it for long. Remember that your insistence on your demand delays it; we came to Earth to learn patience.
Put everything you desperately need in your prayer list without being accompanied by the pain of its delay. Nothing is late; God's destiny comes at the best times.
Seasons of kindness always intertwine with us, as do times of anxiety that exhaust us.
All the simple, mundane things that used to pass us by without us paying attention to them are now safe havens that protect us. We lean on them to find calmness and clarity.
Stop waiting for surprises and immerse yourself in your present blessings. The absence of calamities and your ability to practice the profession of life and enjoy it, even if you are burdened with some weight that does not stop the flow of your waters, is the most beautiful provision of tranquility for you.
Your conscious realization that you are not alone in your suffering, that there are those who endure what you cannot bear, that God sends you love in every hardship, that He beautifies you in every distress, and that sometimes the worst of fates is the beginning of planting good deeds in your world; makes you powerfully realize that you are not alone and that you are connected to the Almighty.
You are strong to the extent that you hold onto the joys of your world. Do you know who represents the cherished soul for you? It could be you, my beautiful friend!
I seek refuge in You, O God, that I may not walk a path You do not desire for me, for my efforts will not sustain me without Your help. I seek refuge in You from You and that I may not walk a path where I arrive late. O Lord, be for us a safe path and a tender homeland without longing, sorrow, or setbacks.
I used to come out of battles losing part of my heart to be the stronger, victorious side; for I have long been pained by abandonment, desertion, and betrayal.
I wish for you, my friend, to find someone worthy of fighting for, not to run down a path from which you return halfway, to continually renew your energy in a way that prepares you for all reasons of satisfaction, to make your days worthy of your efforts, and for God to fix your eyes on what you aspire to, then remain deserving of it, and then grant you the most beautiful provisions in it. And may the essentials of happiness never be taken away from you as long as you live.
Every year, you are a cherished soul.
