The homeland is such a sacred concept that it shines brightly in the spiritual world of a person like the sun. It gives strength to the body, comfort to the soul, and meaning to life. This sacred and dear word represents Uzbekistan. It is closely related to the revered word “Mother.”
In this world, there is only one mother and one homeland. This concept serves as a guiding star for humanity, leading those who wander in darkness.
For thousands of years, scholars from both the East and the West have written about the homeland with love and devotion. From our childhood, the places familiar to our eyes and hearts — our homes, schools, city gardens, squares, the hills and mountains of our villages, and the sky-reaching peaks — all represent the homeland.
The main idea of the Uzbek people’s national development path is to build a free and prosperous life in an independent and flourishing homeland. This idea reflects the eternal noble aspirations of our people and defines the meaning of their constructive activities. It embodies the lofty cultural values that are sacred to every individual.
One of the main principles of the national ideology is the priority of the concept of freedom. The independence of the homeland is the foundation of all our dreams, aspirations, practical activities, and bright future.
The homeland is the sacred land where a person’s umbilical cord is buried, a place that nurtures them and gives meaning to their life. It is a great heritage passed down from ancestors to descendants, the most cherished memory. This land holds the pure remains of our forefathers and is the sacred ground where we will eventually rest.

A person with a homeland feels pride and has clear goals. Someone who senses the support of a homeland as strong as a mountain can endure and overcome any trials of life.
The prosperity of the homeland depends primarily on the development of its children. Therefore, every citizen must feel a deep responsibility for their spiritual growth and align their personal interests with the interests of the nation and its people.
The national idea can never take root or flourish outside the homeland. An idea that does not serve the development of the homeland can never become a national idea. Only when it reflects the principles that ensure the homeland’s progress can it gain strength and power.
Today, entrepreneurship and free economic activity are widely developing in our society. The economic strength of our state is increasing, while the spiritual richness and intellectual potential of our people are rising. These changes form a solid foundation for the development of the homeland.
Unleashing the potential for constructive activity, modernizing the economy based on advanced technologies, and raising healthy and well-rounded young generations are critical tasks today.
The peace of the country is an invaluable blessing and a great fortune. Throughout all stages of its development, humanity has always strived for peace and harmony. The peace of the country is the guarantee of stable progress.
The Uzbek people highly value peace, considering it the guarantee of realizing their dreams and goals. Indeed, humanity can only achieve its ultimate goals and reach material and spiritual heights when peace and stability prevail.
During the nearly forty-year reign of Amir Timur’s grandson Mirzo Ulughbek in Mavarounnahr, peace and stability prevailed in the country. As a result, science, culture, and constructive activities flourished, and our ancient land prospered.
The peace of the country is closely linked to the freedom and independence of the homeland. A nation under the domination of others can never live prosperously. Therefore, it is our duty to safeguard independence and peace and to always be ready to protect our country from aggressive forces.
High spirituality, political culture, and the ideological maturity of a nation are crucial for maintaining the peace of the country. The idea sacred to our people has always served to unite various forces and movements within society and to strengthen national unity.
