DISTANCE
Distance makes people
See each other in perfection
Relations need
A judicious
Mix of familiarity and distance.
The essential issue is
How to maintain fondness.
How to ensure your friends
Love you
And do not turn tail
When you approach…
I learnt this lesson from God
He is most desired
And searched for
Because
He is not available
Nor accessible to human beings
The moment a person comes to know
You depend on him
Or you lavish your attentions
On him,
It is the end of love.
Couples fail to keep up
This spirit of fondness and they lose
Partner’s interest
And ultimately
Land in the court
Truth often breaks relations
What to say and what not,
And how much
Needs wisdom which often
Fails the smartest of men.
