Lausanne Tourisme unveiled their summer packages during the largest international travel and tourism event, Arabian Travel Market which was held in Dubai World Trade Centre from April 22 to 25.
As part of their ongoing promotion to boost guest arrivals from the GCC region, every year Lausanne Tourisme sets out on a road show to meet key operators and top travel agencies, later utilizing the ATM event as a platform for finalizing package deals and unveiling agreements with local and international companies.
Director of GCC Markets at Lausanne Tourism Authority, Walter Loser, commented, “Promoting Lausanne at ATM, is the base for strengthening our incoming tourism. It is one of the most important exhibitions in our sector and we are considered lucky that the exhibition takes place just before our summer season, thus providing us with the advantage of advertising our package deals at the best time period.”
This summer, Lausanne is offering visitors summer packages featuring visits to the largest Aquarium in the world, Aquatis Aquarium- Vivarium, the Olympic museum, EPFL at École Polytechnique Fédeérale de Lausanne, as well as staycation packages at the world-class boutique hotel, Royal Savoy. They will also be offering summer camp activities in a spectacular camp site at Brillantmont International School, one of the top boarding schools in the country which has already attracted students from the Gulf region. The summer course will provide students the opportunity to socialize with students from all over the world, improve their language skills in English or French and enjoy a range of activities and excursions in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Lausanne Tourisme has also announced their partnership with Dnata Travel, Kanoo Travel and recently signed with Emirates holiday at the ATM event.
