Emirates Park Zoo hosted The Warm Touch Event by Emirates Red Crescent association where the visitors got to experience everything the zoo has to offer.
A dedicated team of 40 workers from Emirates park zoo joined the crowd from Red crescent which consisted of 100 workers and 50 volunteers, who were warmly greeted with a complimentary entrance and a dance inspired by African tribes.
The exclusive event commenced with a zoo tour accompanied by the enthusiastic zoo educators that introduced and assisted the guest in feeding the animals. The tour was followed by an exciting Tropical Bird show featuring macaws, parrots, cockatoos, and a few other feathered friends. The crowd got to learn about the types of birds and their behaviours and see them do amusing tricks.
Shortly after, the workers were directed to the sea lion show, in which the aquatic creatures displayed their big personalities showcasing their tricks of climbing, diving and catching fish which had the visitors entertained all throughout.
The day ended with a heartfelt farewell where gifts and meals were distributing to the workers of Red Crescent Association.
Dr. Waleed Sha’aban, Emirates Park Zoo Manager commented: “We are pleased to have such an amazing crowd visit the zoo. They work day and night in looking out for our community, it is about time to give back no matter how small or simple it may be, it will always make a difference.”
“We would like to also thank Emirates Red Crescent for continuously assisting and supporting each and every individual in need.”
