The Union Association for Human Rights (UAHR), in cooperation with the National Library and Archives (NLA) and the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, organised an exhibition on the sidelines of the UAHR's participation in the 56th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
The exhibition, which concluded its activities yesterday, was held under the title "The United Nations vision and the UAE model in simulating the future." It showcased the importance of the "Future Summit" in shaping the future of human rights and introduced the efforts, achievements, and leadership of the UAE in the field of human rights.
The three-day exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Fatima Khalifa Al Kaabi, President of the UAHR. Also present were a number of representatives of international non-governmental organisations and prominent community figures in Geneva, as well as many experts and UN rapporteurs, international organisations, civil and community leaders participating in the session of the UN Human Rights Council.
Dr. Al Kaabi highlighted the significance of the exhibition in showcasing the UAE model in promoting human rights and envisioning its future. She emphasised the UAE's commitment to enriching its human rights efforts and the endeavour to expand UAHR's participation in human rights work.
