Mafraq Hotel Hosts Teams Participating at Worldskills Abu Dhabi 2017

Mafraq Hotel hosted more than 1,000 persons participating at Worldskills Abu Dhabi 2017, the world’s largest vocational skills competition for a lunch event organised by Hala Abu Dhabi, earlier on Thursday.

Participants feasted on an unrivalled lunch buffet that comprised of gourmet dishes across world cuisine, and more than 5 live cooking counters. A dessert station outfitted with more than 20 varieties of pastries, puddings and sweet treats proved to be the grand finale of the lunch that befitted the volume of talent present at the occasion.

Prior to proving their mettle at ADNEC, in over 51 vocational skills-testing contests spanning six industries- construction and building technology; creative arts and fashion; transportation and logistics; manufacturing and engineering technology; information and communication technology; and health and social care, individuals between the ages of 17 and 25 experienced the Bedouin traditions and the impressive modern Arabia with Hala Abu Dhabi’s desert safari, where they relished dinner specially prepared by the diligent culinary team of Mafraq Hotel.
