With one of the toughest US presidential elections just a few days away, Chinese state media aired a program mocking Donald Trump and Kamala Harris’ presidential debate.

Beijing-based Xinhua News posted an AI-generated mock debate between the two rivals on its website, dubbed a “Parody Show.”

Welcome to the presidential debate in the United States of America, a woman host begins the debate, followed by her male colleague who says, “Finally, with someone who golfs better than he governs.”

His remarks appear to be a reference to Republican candidate Donald Trump, who recently took part in a ceremonial golf tournament, claiming to be the best player of sport in the world.

The anchor kicks off the debate by asking Trump as “Mtr. Upperwood” a question about an escalating national debt, which the latter claims will “magically go down under my watch.”

Harris, while grimacing her face, ridiculed his claim, dubbing him “you are a commander-in-cheat.”

“Do we want a dummy to run this country,” she went on to attack him verbally, contending that her rival knows nothing much about the economy.

Responding to another question, a lengthier one, that China is changing the international order.

“They’re building railways and hospitals in Africa, where donkeys and village healers used to be good enough. They brought back 2 kg of soil from the far side of the moon. Soon they’ll be hollowing out the whole satellite,” Harris said, adding “This guy is as tough on China as a soggy egg roll. But am not gonna be nice to China.”

She said she would double the number of sanctions from 10,000 for China, including sanctioning Chinese buttons and Chinese toothpicks because “they will be collecting our DNA.”

Reacting to the comment, Trump dubbed Harris as “the best comedian in the town.”

“Your foolishness is selling off our country,” he charged.

The debate ended when the hosts themselves indulged in a fight over the selection of questions.
