A.R.M. Holding, a leading multi-focused investment firm in the UAE, announced a landmark partnership with internationally acclaimed architecture studio BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group during a signing ceremony attended by Mohammad Saeed Al Shehhi, CEO of A.R.M. Holding, and Bjarke Ingels, Founder and Creative Director of BIG.
The collaboration will bring to life an ambitious 5 sq km masterplan surrounding the historic Jebel Ali Racecourse, set to redefine Dubai's urban landscape starting end of 2026. The project directly aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan - a visionary roadmap guiding the emirate's sustainable growth over the next two decades that aims to enhance quality of life, increase green spaces, promote human-centric design, and reinforce Dubai's position as a global destination for business, tourism, and innovation.
"This partnership with BIG embodies our core values of creativity, integrity, and agility," said Mohammad Saeed Al Shehhi, CEO of A.R.M. Holding. "In a diverse community of over 200 nationalities, we believe in creating spaces that connect people on a deeper level. This masterplan will serve as a bridge fostering communication, understanding, and principles of empathy that are central to our vision of enabling prosperity."
He further added, "Through this transformative development, we are redefining Dubai's landscape by going back to our legacy and culture. By harmonising Emirati identity with global design standards, we create spaces that are both culturally significant and future-focused. This land, rooted deeply in heritage, will evolve into thriving communities and inspire future generations."
At the heart of Dubai's historic landscape, the A.R.M. Holding mega-project emerges as more than a development, it is a movement. A bold vision rooted in heritage, shaped by innovation, and designed for the future. Around the iconic racetrack, a vibrant city will rise - one that celebrates connection, vitality, and belonging. A place where life thrives across physical, emotional, social, and environmental dimensions.
Rooted in national priorities and guided by 17 measurable KPIs, the masterplan is a living embodiment of holistic prosperity.
“Occupying the grounds of Dubai’s historic Jebel Ali Racecourse, this project is an archipelago of urban islands in a sea of green - reimagining the site not as a collection of objects in isolation, but as a living landscape of interconnected communities.” said Bjarke Ingels, Founder and Creative Director of BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group. "Each island connects to its surrounding neighborhood, increasing in density as it converges around a lush central park - a social oasis at the heart of the city. But the park doesn’t stop at the centre - it bleeds between the islands, weaving nature through the urban fabric and extending its reach to the wider community. This is not just a new neighborhood; it’s a new chapter for Dubai - where environmental responsibility and social sustainability become the foundation, not the footnote, of urban development.”
Working closely with BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group, every aspect of the development was carefully crafted to deliver tangible impact. The landmark project will feature a harmonious blend of residential innovation and community-centric design.
The project is expected to break ground in early 2026, marking the beginning of a new chapter in Dubai's urban development story that prioritises human connection, environmental responsibility, and forward-thinking design.
