Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO) provides comprehensive care and rehabilitation services to ensure the well-being and quality of life of People of Determination. It continues its successful journey in offering top-tier care and rehabilitation services to diverse categories across Abu Dhabi.

The organisation serves 28,000 beneficiaries, including 1,700 individuals enrolled in its care and rehabilitation centres across the emirate of Abu Dhabi, according to a report released on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which falls on 3rd December every year.

Thanks to the visionary leadership, the ZHO has achieved remarkable success across various levels. This success is driven by proactive measures and initiatives aimed at integrating and empowering its members in all aspects of public life.

Throughout 2024, the ZHO launched and implemented a series of initiatives and projects, enhancing its services to benefit its members. Under the guidance and supervision of H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, the organisation expanded and developed its services across all centres, equipping them with cutting-edge scientific and specialised devices. This was achieved through leveraging global technological advancements, particularly in artificial intelligence.

The ZHO has also broadened its strategic partnerships, collaborating with Arab and international institutions and global entities to serve the diverse categories of People of Determination.

Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of ZHO, stated, “We take pride in the initiatives and projects we have successfully implemented to equip People of Determination with the necessary skills for independent living. We remain committed to empowering them and creating an inclusive and integrated society. Building on this success, we will continue to develop innovative programmes designed to enhance their abilities, boost their self-confidence, and bring happiness to them and their families.

Al Humaidan emphasised in a press statement that the unwavering support and guidance of the wise leadership serve as a guiding framework for the organisation's work.
