Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed attends graduation ceremony for 33rd joint course of Joint Command

H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has attended the graduation ceremony for the 33rd joint course of the Joint Command and Staff College, headquartered in Abu Dhabi.

His Highness congratulated the graduates, wishing them success in fulfilling their leadership roles and responsibilities to serve the nation and protect its interests, urging them to utilise their skills and academic expertise, both theoretical and practical, to enhance preparedness and competency at their respective units and organisations.

H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also reaffirmed the UAE leadership’s support in preparing national leaders across military and security positions, promoting the culture of excellence and leadership adopted by the UAE Armed Forces in training commanders and equipping units with competencies that aid national endeavours to meet growing demands and address current and future challenges.

His Highness also praised the role of the Joint Command and Staff College in qualifying and preparing officers to assume leading positions in the armed forces, adopting the latest military curricula and sciences, while also focusing on research and strategic analysis to contribute to building the future vision of military capabilities in peacekeeping and humanitarian aid operations during crises, noting that these operations require special coordination and joint planning among relevant military units, including operational, logistical, and service support organisations.

The ceremony began with the UAE national anthem, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.

Staff Brigadier General Saeed Salmeen Al Alawi, Commandant of the Joint Command an

d Staff College, welcomed H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the college’s guests.

Staff Brigadier General Al Alawi said, “The Joint Command and Staff College has made significant contributions since its establishment by a decree from the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, with its headquarters and first course inaugurated by the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and under the guidance of President and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who defined the college’s policy, led its planning team, and chose its location. Today, the college is honoured with Your Highness’ patronage of the 33rd joint course graduation ceremony to continue its blessed journey.”

The Joint Command and Staff College Commandant also praised the wise vision of His Highness the UAE President, the UAE’s government, and the country’s faithful men, who have set an example built upon solid foundations. This vision has enabled the UAE to be placed among advanced nations through various achievements and boundless ambitions across all fields.

Staff Brigadier General Al Alawi said, “The Joint Command and Staff College’s strategy is derived from the clear national vision, strategic objectives, Ministry of Defence and national security strategies, and the UAE’s 10 Principles for the Next 50 Years, all of which support the outcomes of this course.”

Staff Brigadier General Al Alawi highlighted that the college’s key strategic principles and objectives focus on enhancing this organisation’s position to become a leading institution at regional and global levels, through embracing the highest standards of evaluation and assessment to meet the demands of digital transformation, e-learning, scientific research and AI technologies.

The Commandant concluded his speech by praying to God to safeguard the UAE, its government, and its people under the leadership of President and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

He also extended his sincerest thanks and profound gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his attendance and patronage of the ceremony, celebrating graduates’ achievements across various vital fields.

He emphasised that the college’s mission will always be guided by the leadership’s vision in preparing military commanders and supporting efforts to protect the nation and its interests.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan honoured outstanding officers and graduates from friendly nations, wishing them success in their military careers.

He also presented awards and certificates to the graduates, and group photos were taken with His Highness.

During the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was accompanied by Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, and a number of senior officers from the Ministry of Defence and the UAE Armed Forces.
