UAEAA enhances collaboration with Brazilian counterpart in supervision, accounting

The UAE Accountability Authority (UAEAA) and the Federal Court of Accounts of Brazil (TCU) signed a letter of intent to enhance their future cooperation and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the coming period.

The meeting took place during the official visit of a delegation from UAEAA, headed by Humaid Obaid Abushibs, President of UAEAA, to Brazil, aiming to exchange expertise in supervision and accounting.

The delegation’s schedule included bilateral ministerial meetings between Abushibs and Vinícius de Carvalho, Chief Minister of the Comptroller General of the Union of Brazil, as well as with Bruno Dantas, President of TCU.

The meetings discussed several topics of mutual interest between the two sides.

On the sidelines of the visit, both parties held operational meetings to exchange expertise and best practices and applications in the field of supervision to protect public resources.
