Ali Al Nuaimi meets speaker of Seychelles parliament

The meeting

Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Parliamentary Division of the Federal National Council (FNC) at the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), met with Roger Mancienne, Speaker of the National Assembly of Seychelles.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 148th Assembly and 213th Governing Council Session of the IPU in Geneva, Switzerland.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the strategic friendship between the UAE and Seychelles, and the importance of enhancing their cooperation, especially in the areas of investment, trade, tourism, development, climate change, renewable energy, and other vital areas of mutual interest, to bring prosperity and progress to both countries and their peoples.

They also explored ways of enhancing their parliamentary cooperation and affirmed the significance of the coordination and parliamentary collaboration between the FNC and the National Assembly of Seychelles, through organising mutual visits, activating friendship committees for sharing parliamentary expertise and knowledge, and coordinating efforts across various parliamentary forums.
