ERC hosts Iftar for residents near Emirati-Jordanian camp

The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) continues its Ramadan programmes in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, through the Emirati Relief Team. The team's volunteers have Iftar with underprivileged families residing in tents near the Emirati-Jordanian camp in Mrajeeb Al Fhood.

Yousef Abdullah Al Harmoudi, Deputy Commander of the Emirati Relief Team, oversaw the Iftar arrangements. He emphasised that the project is in line with the teachings of our noble religion, which calls for social cohesion, solidarity, and strengthening bonds among Muslims. He explained that around 60 families benefited from this initiative.

Al Harmoudi added that Ramdan programme is part of a series of initiatives of the Emirati Relief Team in Jordan during the holy month, expressing gratitude for the generous support from the UAE leadership that enables implementation of this charitable work in Jordan.

The beneficiaries of the Iftar expressed their happiness for sharing the Iftar meal with the Emirati Relief Team, thanking the ERC for their support. They said they are praying for the well-being of the United Arab Emirates and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
