Ajman CP attends closing ceremony of 'Title Show' at Katara International Arabian Horse Festival

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, witnessed the closing ceremony of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival championship, “Title Show,” in the Qatari capital, Doha.

The championship is part of the fourth edition of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival, which is taking place from 1st to 11th February, with the participation of 674 horses from 27 countries.

Sheikh Ammar expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Tamim for his sponsorship and support for equestrian sports.

“Sports events, especially those linked to our authentic Arab heritage and traditions inherited from our ancestors, such as Arabian horse beauty contests, which reflect the enduring Gulf heritage, have received attention, care, and support from the UAE’s leadership, foreseeing a promising and flourishing future,” Sheikh Ammar said.

He also lauded the level of organisation, distinguished attendance, wide participation, and exciting competitions during the fourth edition of the championship, which enhances Qatar's global status in hosting prestigious sporting events.

The closing ceremony was also attended by Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force of Qatar; Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee; Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), and several Sheikhs and officials from the UAE and Qatar.
