EDGE highlights importance of Latin American markets at Expodefensa 2023

EDGE, one of the world’s leading advanced technology and defence groups, has announced its participation at Expodefensa 2023, scheduled from 5th to 7th December, 2023, in Bogotá, Colombia.

The group’s attendance at one of Latin America’s most important industry exhibitions underscores its ongoing commitment to the Latin American market, where it has been actively building its presence through sales, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions, contributing to the region's security and defence capabilities.

EDGE will exhibit its unique portfolio of sophisticated solutions at the event, highlighting its expertise in autonomous systems, precision-guided munitions, arms and ammunition, and advanced electronic warfare solutions.

Featured on EDGE’s stand in the Autonomous Systems domain will be the QX family of loitering munitions, the GARMOOSHA rotary-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and the SHADOW loitering unmanned aerial vehicles. The HUNTER series of loitering munitions will also be displayed, including the HUNTER 2-S swarming UAV, which features powerful artificial intelligence (AI).

In the Smart Weapons domain, EDGE will exhibit the AL TARIQ line of long-range PGMs, the RASH precision-guided munitions systems, the DESERT STING line of air-to-surface precision-guided glide weapons, the MANSUP-ER anti-ship missile, and the SKYKNIGHT air defence missile.

EDGE’s Arms and Ammunitions display is set to include its portfolio of pistols, submachine guns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, and a broad range of small calibre ammunition.

A full suite of Electronic Warfare solutions will be displayed, including the ACTIVECELL search and rescue system, the SKYSHIELD counter-UAS solution, V-PROTECT convoy protection, and other homeland security solutions.
