NAJAH Abu Dhabi to host prestigious universities from 16 countries

The 11the edition of NAJAH Abu Dhabi, a leading higher education event in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), will be held from 25th to 27th October at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

With proper education, these young people will acquire the essential tools to become future leaders who would be best qualified to play a major role in the remarkable development witnessed by the UAE in various fields," said Suzy Pallett, Consumer and Corporate Group Director at Informa Middle East and Executive Director of NAJAH Abu Dhabi.

"The fair provides an ideal opportunity for students to meet and discuss future careers with some of the best institutions of higher education. NAJAH Abu Dhabi will be attended by a number of leading and pioneering universities to help students make the most appropriate choices, meet with specialised counsellors and benefit from their expertise," Pallet added.

NAJAH Abu Dhabi is also an opportunity for students to connect with prestigious universities in the country and 16 countries from across the world, including the United States (US), the United Kingdom (UK), Canada, Japan, Germany, Lebanon, Egypt, Pakistan, Italy, Hungary and Cyprus, among others.

A recent research from HSBC reveals that 65 percent of the parents surveyed in the UAE were most likely to consider sending their children abroad for studies. In terms of their preferred destinations, the parents identified the United States as the number one choice, followed by Australia, the UK, Canada and Germany.

For the first time at NAJAH Abu Dhabi, the third day of the fair (Friday, 27th October) will be dedicated to parents, giving them the opportunity to attend the fair with their children (grades 10-12).

The fair is expected to draw more than 16,000 visitors, including students, parents, teachers, school counsellors and academic staff.

In 2016, NAJAH Abu Dhabi witnessed the participation of over 150 universities and academic institutions from 20 countries and attracted more than 11,500 students and visitors.
