Refurbished Plaza Premium Lounge ― Al Dhabi Now Opens at Abu Dhabi International Airport

Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) has unveiled its revamped Al Dhabi Lounge in Terminal 1, with 47% increase in seating capacity, and amenities that can accommodate approximately 300 persons.

Adjacent to Aerotel Abu Dhabi, the airport’s transit hotel, this refurbished lounge now features a state of the art family space replete with lofty seating areas, a sophisticated all-day dining room, a prayer room, an innovative workstation area designed to facilitate corporates who will find all business amenities from A-Z in its vicinity, and massage rooms ideal for rejuvenation of travelers on the road.

Commenting on the reopening, Dan Cappell, Acting Chief Commercial Officer of Abu Dhabi Airports said: “The new Al Dhabi Lounge represents advancement towards our objective of making continuous improvements to our customer services, giving our passengers a world class travel experience. Al Dhabi Lounge is bringing the best combination of leisure, relaxation, entertainment, dining, and hospitality to Abu Dhabi International Airport. Peruse through a selection of the latest blockbusters, TV shows, magazines, newspapers and more are at the fingertips of the guests. A hot buffet featuring an inspiring array of dishes from global cuisines is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, in addition to a spread of sandwiches and snacks displayed throughout the day. Guests can also enjoy a refreshing beverage or an aromatic cup of coffee at the cozy café, and refresh their senses with an invigorating shower at the four spa-inspired shower areas.

Located at Abu Dhabi International Airport Terminal 1, Al Dhabi lounge is now open and operates 24 hours a day. Travelers flying first or business class with any airline are eligible for lounge access. Other passengers can access Al Dhabi Lounge for rates starting at AED 200 per person for 2 hours and AED 350 per person for 5 hours. Children aged 2 to 11 will enjoy a 30% discount.
