H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Judicial Council on Wednesday visited Sharjah Court.
He was received by Sheikh Faisal bin Ali bin Abdullah Al Mualla, Secretary-General of the Judicial Council, and members of the Council, Dr. Mansour bin Nassar, Chairman of the Legal Department of the Government of Sharjah; Judge Dr. Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Judicial Department; Judge Ahmed Abdullah Al Mulla, Chairman of the Court of Cassation; Judge Dr. Omar Obaid Al Ghoul, Chairman of the Courts of First Instance; Judge Abdulrahman Sultan bin Taliah, Chairman of the Courts of Appeal; Judge Dr. Salama Rashid Salem Tamim Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Judicial Inspection Department; and Counselor Anwar Amin Al Harmoudi, Attorney General and Head of the Public Prosecution Authority.
H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed toured the corridors of the Judicial Court, where he was briefed on the progress of work in the Court, departments and sections, listening to an explanation of the various judicial, prosecutorial and legal services provided by the Court to customers and all employees in the judicial apparatus.
During his visit, H.H. Sheikh Sultan also met with members of the judicial and prosecutorial corps from the judiciary and public prosecutors, where he shook hands with them, wishing them success and guidance in their practical tasks.
The Chairman of the Judicial Council inspected the Customer Happiness Centre, where he learned about the efforts made to provide the best practices and ensure the comfort of customers in obtaining services, and developing them in a way that contributes to upgrading all the various services provided by the Court.
H.H. Sheikh Sultan also visited all the departments, administrations, courts and circuits with their various degrees and specialisations, including primary, appeal, civil, commercial, criminal, misdemeanour, labour, Sharia and others, and was briefed on the various judicial services provided, in addition to the Forensic Medicine Department, the Public Prosecutor's Office, and a number of service halls, administrative offices and support services.
During the visit, H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi learned about the efforts made in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and the federal authorities in coordination and cooperation to complete the transitional phase of the judicial system in the Emirate of Sharjah, with the continuation of judicial services smoothly and easily without interruption.
