SEWA completes maintenance of distribution boxes in 376 sites

During 2023, the technical teams of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has completed the maintenance of 367 sites in various areas of the city of Sharjah, where all electricity distribution boxes for various facilities were inspected. Ahmed Salem Al Bas, Deputy Director of the Electricity Distribution Department, explained that the authority is intensifying its awareness campaigns to encourage the public to support SEWA’s efforts to achieve security and safety in electrical connections.

Al Bas asks society members to report any cases related to distribution boxes or electrical malfunctions to SEWA so the technical teams can deal with the issues.

He stressed that the inspection teams check for anything that may harm the electrical network and take measurements to prevent future malfunctions.
