ERC continues to distribute food parcels to people of Rafah

The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) is continuing its drive to distribute food parcels to people in the Rafah Governorate in the Gaza Strip, as part of the “Gallant Knight 3” humanitarian operation launched by the UAE to support the people of Palestine.

The ERC team located in Rafaa Governorate distributed 2,604 food parcels, to 15,744 beneficiaries.

The distribution process included 400 parcels in the Saudi neighbourhood, 550 parcels in the Bahr Al-Mawasi area, 700 parcels in the Tal al-Sultan neighbourhood, 550 parcels in the Canada camp, and 400 parcels in the Al-Salam neighbourhood, east of Rafah.

Meanwhile, the ERC team installed 25 tents in Rafah Tal al-Sultan, west of the city of Khaled bin Al-Walid district, for 150 beneficiaries.

The ERC emphasised its keenness to support the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and enhance their ability to deal with the current circumstances.

The beneficiaries expressed their thanks and appreciation to the UAE's leadership and people for this humanitarian gesture.
