Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development and International Organisations, attended yesterday evening the reception hosted by Julio Belarmino Gomes Maiato, Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the UAE, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

The ceremony, which was held at the Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, was also attended a number of officials, heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the UAE, and members of the Angolan community in the UAE.

In his speech at the reception, Maiato praised the bilateral relations between the UAE and his country, which have seen significant progress in recent years across all levels.
