Italy's Ministry of Cultural Heritage honours Fujairah Cultural Society

Italy's Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Activities and Tourism has honoured the Fujairah Social Cultural Society with the Ministry Shield in recognition of its active and successful participation in the Ibn Battuta Cultural Forum, which was held recently in the city of Palermo, Sicily.

Paolo Macini, Deputy Minister, presented the award to Khalid Al Dhankhany in the presence of artist Sabah Binziyadi, President of the Forum's Organising Committee, media representatives, and a large audience.

Macini said the Fujairah Society's participation in the forum, represented by its Chairman, Al Dhankhany, was "remarkable and important because it contributed to enhancing cultural communication between Italy and the UAE."
