With the new season just around the corner, Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center, Abu Dhabi has renewed its focus on developing its F&B (food and beverage) experience with a new-found vigour. This reformed brand mantra has thrust the man behind its trend-setting culinary concepts to the spotlight- Eugen Precup, F&B Service Manager of Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center, Abu Dhabi.
“What we wanted to achieve with Courtyard by Marriott is for all the F&B outlets to have its own identity. In this current market, you have to be unique to stand out. So we crafted each restaurant’s identity aligned to the up and coming trends of 2017 to really trail blaze into Abu Dhabi’s dining scene as trendsetters”.
Courtyard by Marriott will dabble with an interesting menu of experiences in its three distinctive outlets. Precup reflects on Fifth Street Café that will appeal to corporates and business persons with its laidback, casual ambience. The café offers delicious hearty breakfast favourites and easy lunch specials, perfect to relish on the go. The Bistro, the hotel’s flagship restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. What’s really stolen the limelight is its newly introduced brunch concepts that extend well into the evenings. A plethora of live cooking stations, elaborate cuisine selections and grill platters have diners spoilt for choice.
Lastly is Up & Below, the rooftop bar that has quickly become a favourite among Abu Dhabi’s youngsters. Serving one of the best views of the city, decadent portions of international delicacies, and chilled beverages, Up & Below is the place to be after the sun goes down. “This season, we will host some of the best parties in town. Starting from our Austrian special Vienna Heuriger happening in late October, to our karaoke nights and silent parties, Courtyard by Marriott has a lot to offer”.
Guests can experience an authentic Vienna Heuriger from 26- 28 October. Coming together with the Austrian Embassy, the event will showcase the finest harvest of Austrian grape, food, and live entertainment courtesy of a traditional, Austrian band.
For those seeking a more dramatic fare, check out the silent parties hosted by the hotel. Tune in to either of the three music options from three different DJs who will be playing some of the hottest remixes of the season. Strap on your headphones and dance to the tune of your choice.
Precup has implemented a strategy that centres on customer feedback and guest experience. “The Marriott brand is built on guest satisfaction and that’s the secret to our success here at Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center. We are responsive to suggestions and have regular team meetings to incorporate feedback into our operations.”
Mr. Eugen Precup oversees food and beverage operations, and the overall dining experience for the three signature restaurants at Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center. Also on the roster, Precup leads the F&B team and plays a key role in generating revenue and attracting its key target audience.
